The Important People

I would like to introduce everyone to the most important people in my life because these are the people who helped mold me into the person I am today.

Let's start off with my parents!
(circa 1981)
My parents mean the world to me. Growing up they were the best friends that I could have ever asked for. After meeting for the first time and falling in love, my dad proposed after just 3 weeks. They were married within 6 months and will be celebrating their 33rd anniversary in December. They have shown me that true love is worth the fight, and to never give up on my dreams. Now that I am a little older, my mom is the first person I go to with a problem and I am honored to be able to call her a best friend! I have always been my dad's "lil buddy" and will always be a daddy's girl, but since he was diagnosed with ALS aka Lou Gehrig's disease in the spring of 2011, our bond has grown even stronger. I thank God everyday for blessing me with the two best role models I could have ever asked for.

My wonderful boyfriend Bo
Bo and I met at band camp our freshman year of college where we were both in the percussion section, but did not get together until a year later in 2011. From the very beginning, Bo has been everything (and more) that I could ever ask for. He is a sweet, kind-hearted soul who will do anything for the people he holds closest to his heart. He goes after his dreams and is the most ambitious person I know! He brings out the very best in me and makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world! I am so excited to see what the future holds for us!

My Best Friend Samantha

Samantha and I have known each other since middle school, but did not really become friends until she came to high school. She is practically my sister. No literally, we basically lived with each other in high school. Sure we have our fights, but I know that I can always turn to her with any kind of issue I have. Since we go to colleges in different states we are not as close as we used to be, but as soon as we get together it's like nothing has ever changed. She is the only friend that has stuck around with me all these years and I know that our friendship will continue to grow whether we are one state apart or on the other side of the world.

These are the people that know me better than myself it seems! So now that you know them a little better, you can start to understand this crazy life that I call my own!
