Inspiration is something that can be hard to find and easy to lose. Sometimes I get in an uncreative rut where I feel like I'm not inspired to do anything but watch Netflix and HBO GO. Those are the days where I turn to my laptop to find some inspiration. The internet really is a magnificent thing, and is something that I don't feel is used to it's full potential sometimes. There is just so much to look at! So many beautiful pictures, project ideas, organization tips, art pieces.... it really can be overwhelming sometimes.

My two favorite places to look for inspiration are Pinterest and Polyvore (you can click either link to visit my profiles!). I recently started following P.S. I made this (profile here!) on Pinterest and their Inspiration collages inspired me to make some of my own, and I thought I would share them with you! FLOWER POWER

Spring break has finally begun! I seriously never thought this break would come and I could not be any happier. Bo and I are heading down to Fort Walton Beach, as I previously mentioned, and we are beyond excited! This has been a rough semester mentally, physically, and emotionally, so some time on the beach can definitely heal our higher education wounds! With that being said, I have put together a POLYVORE collection of what I personally consider to be essentials!
Spring Break Essentials

Also, you can check out my POLYVORE profile HERE !

This year was the first time in about 4 years that I have bought a two piece bathing suit, because thankfully the high waisted trend works on my figure. I'm very excited to show it off on the beach next week! I'm also obsessed with the colored mirror lens sunglasses trend. The ones above are from Forever 21, and I also have them in black. Chapstick and sunscreen are a must! EOS is by far my favorite chapstick brand, and because they are so oddly shaped they are easy to find when you are fumbling through your purse or beach bag! Also, I love spray on sunscreen. It is so much easier to apply than the sunscreen lotion (which is literally one of my least favorite things in the world to be honest) and I like to get the Sport version so sweat isn't much of a problem.

But what would "SB2K14" be without a good playlist? Something to blast while you are driving on the interstate, with windows down of course, on the way to your destination. Well fear not, for I have put on together for you! It is guaranteed to put a smile on your face :)

I hope everyone enjoyed this post, and  if you are also on spring break then make it a great one! My boyfriend Bo and I will be filming and documenting our trip, so hopefully we will have that coming for you all soon! Now I gotta go pack our suitcases!

That Time of Year Again

Back To School

Although I know all schools start at different times, today was our first day back! This will be my 4th year here at JSU and I am excited for the semester to start! I am especially excited to start my Campus Fashion posts! There is so much amazing fashion on our campus that screams individuality and I can't wait to be able to capture it for you all! This is something I have been wanting to do for about a year now but have not had a camera to do so with until now (asking a stranger if you can take a picture of them on your iPhone for your so called "blog" seemed creepy to me). For my birthday this year, Bo got me a Nikon Coolpix L100 and I could not be more excited to get this project started so I can share inspiration with you all! Today I ordered some business cards to give to anyone I take pictures of so they can see their pictures (and to look more professional , and again try not to be creepy :) lol) so as soon as those arrive I will begin my campus fashion adventure!

Stay Tuned!
